Workshop Quantitative Geomorphology at IIT Gandhinagar

Using Python, Pointclouds, and DEMs to understand landcape evolution at various timescales.

Prof. Vikrant and colleagues jain organized a workshop at the Indian Institute of Technology at Gandhinagar (IIT Gn) with 25 international participants. Lectures and exercises were given by several researcher from various institutes. About 25 PhD students and early-career researchers attended the 2-week long workshop. A detailed list of lectures and exercises are on the Quantitative Geomorphology github page. Specific focus in the second week was on analyzing digital elevation models and landscape evolution models.
